23 Apr Ski Season 18/19 Highlights
The sun has set on another ski season at Kaluma and whilst we hang up our skis for another amazing season we wanted to take a look back at a few of our highlights….
Snow Conditions
The season started with epic snow…..
And ended with amazing snow conditions for Spring skiing!
Kaluma Chalets
Sweet Little Home in St Anton became a Kaluma operated chalet, and was a hit with our guests! Chalet Bluebird was our first B&B chalet, offering our guests the chance to enjoy more of the St Anton dining scene.
Ski Experiences
We launched our luxury ski experiences, offering a collection of handpicked, unique experiences in the snow. These included heli-skiing in Baqueria Beret in Spain, powder skiing in Japan and a ski safari in the Dolomites.
Chalet Catering
Our chefs prepared lots of delicious gourmet food for our chalet guests – find out more about what’s included at Kaluma chalets here.
And our chalet Big Green Eggs were as popular as ever with our guests!
In-Resort Highlights
We welcomed Zoe (Dress Like a Mum), Clemmie, Nat (Style Me Sunday) and Cat (Not So Smug Now) to our chalet Sweet Little Home in St Anton for a girls weekend. They enjoyed some fun days on the slopes and of course a tour of the legendary ‘Big Bottled Wine Cellar’ at the Hospiz Alm in St Christoph. Read our interview with Zoe here where she shares her top tips for a ski trip with children.
*Zoe, Clemmie, Nat and Cat stayed at our Sweet Little Home chalet. The chalet, transfers and lift passes were provided by Kaluma.
We had a proposal at the top of the mountains in St Anton….
There was lots of powder skiing and bluebird days!
Our water bottles made it to the Alps for our chalet guests to enjoy fresh Alpine water throughout the day and reduce our plastic usage.
We welcomed corporate ski guests across the Alps, to our chalets and ski hotels. And Andy took lots of our guests on guided days around St Anton.
