Our top tips:

The Burg Vital in Oberlech is hidden behind the ever popular Burg Hotel. It is smaller, more intimate and offers stunning food on a small terrace for a more sedate long lunch in the sun.

The Balm Alp at the top of the Zug Valley on the White Ring provides revellers with stunning views and excellent table sized pizzas to share!

Take a guide and enjoy the White Ring, but off piste. The White Ring is a must on any trip to Lech…to do it off piste is something very special.

The Fux Bar; if you are going to venture out once, make it to the Fux. Steak House, Thai Fusion and a chic wine bar make it a whole evening destination to “hang out” with the cool Lech crowd.

Dining in Zurs:

Lech has more award winning restaurants than any other Austrian resort or city. That in itself speaks volumes for the quality of cuisine and service that is offered in this uber chic resort. Mostly in-house hotel restaurants offer a delightful range of international dishes. Food, wine and traditional hospitality are evident in all of Lech’s fine eateries, from the famous cake shops and patisseries to the Michelin starred restaurants in Oberlech.

Apres ski is centred very much around a few slope side bars for the traditional après drinks on the piste. Alternatively, the street side ice bars, with live music until early evening are always fun and are definitely the places to be seen.

Late night drinking is rare in Lech, but the two nightclubs they do have provide a well heeled crowd with fun music and big bottles of champagne!
