ICELAND

If you ask anyone who has been skiing in Iceland, they will tell you the same thing. There is simply something magical about the whole experience. You don’t come to Iceland to be pampered, to be served by waiters in bow ties and white gloves. You come to be who you are, treated as an individual by others who truly want to make you feel welcome and be part of their culture.

We work with a great lodge and a family run operator who do everything to make your stay as unforgettable as possible. This attitude works. The emphasis is on real, genuine experiences and high quality skiing.

The Klangsholl Lodge sits in the heart of the best ski terrain in Iceland. An old sheep farm, converted to a beautiful lodge with comfortable modern chalets surrounding it makes your base camp.

The Troll peninsula is not only vast in size but offers staggering, take your breath away scenery. It also offers terrain for almost all abilities. From good intermediates through to your professional free riders. Calming, easy ‘cruisy’ powder fields down to the sea or steep and deep couloirs to explore… you can ski it all here. Plus you can also ski late into the arctic nights here and even ski under the Northern Lights – a once in a lifetime experience.

In this part of the world it is always more than just a heli ski trip. You are treated as a long lost friend. Amazing dinners of local game and fish are served in your lodge, picnics on the beach in the presence of whales and dolphins or a hot tub with the Northern Lights shining down on you from above. Iceland offers an unrivalled truly magical experience.
