LUXURY LIVEABOARD DIVE EXPERIENCE IN INDONESIA

We have partnered up with the very best to offer you the ultimate dive experience; a luxury liveaboard dive adventure on either of two beautiful sailing yachts in Indonesia.

With an archipelago consisting of over 17,000 islands, Indonesia is considered to be the worlds best country for for diving, consisting of the most diverse and enchanting sea life.

Secluded bays, picturesque white sand beaches, jungle, volcanoes, turquoise waters, extensive marine life, fascinating cultural attractions and its own delicious cuisine make Indonesia one of the best places to go diving.

Highlights of this trip include:

  • Diving the richest and healthiest reefs in the world
  • Staying on the most beautiful lievaboard yachts
  • On land adventures including climbing Pindato peak, visiting a pearl farm and pristine beaches

This trip of a lifetime we are offering is to Raja Ampat, located in the heart of the Coral Triangle, which spreads from The Philippines to Timor to Papua New Guinea. And while the Coral Triangle only covers 1.6% of the planet’s oceanic area, the region has 76% of all known coral species in the world and is the global centre of marine biodiversity.

Mantas, barracuda, pale or blue tail surgeonfish, parrotfish, anemonefish, mandarinfish, the rare pygmy seahorse, turtle and shark species are just a few of the incredible sea life you are likely to come across on this amazing experience. The very best way to visit Raja Ampat and see all this incredible marine life is on a liveaboard and we have two beautiful boats for you to choose from depending on the size of your group.

Experienced PADI dive instructors will escort you to the most enchanting underwater paradise, accomplished chefs will prepare delicious meals including freshly-caught seafood, fruits and pastries for your meals on deck. With almost two to one crew on each boat available to you, your group’s every needs will almost certainly be catered for.

The beauty of private chartering either of these luxury sailing yachts is you can stop when you want, not only dive but to kayak secluded bays, snorkel coral reefs, water ski, wake board or windsurf. The boats are very well equipped. You can eat when you would like and if a picnic takes your fancy on a white sandy beach on route this can be arranged. Massage and spa treatments can be discussed when preparing your trip and we can arrange for a masseuse to be on board to help relax you after the days activities and prepare you for your dinners under the stars.

Our itinerary below is an idea of what can be covered on this amazing experience however we will tailor this to your requirements. We look forward to your enquiries!

ESSENTIAL INFORMATION

The boats depart from Sorong in West Papua which is the gateway to Raja Ampat. International flights do not fly direct to Sorong but via connections from either Jakarta, Denpasar and Makassar.

Whilst liveaboards in this region can operate all year round, between October and April is largely considered to be the best time to dive in Raja Ampat, as it avoids strong winds and choppy waters that can occur outside these months. The sea temperatures range from 27-30°C with visibility from 10-30 metres. The months of December to March usually have the best overall visibility.

We recommend at least 9 nights to be able to cruise the whole of Raja Ampat as there is a lot of distance to cover between north (Wayag) and south (Misool). Shorter trips are possible (5 to 7 nights), but then you would just focus on one area.
