16 Oct Ski Season Countdown Begins
It’s a very exciting time of year for us at Kaluma as you can imagine. We are on the cusp of the new ski season and have been very busy preparing to welcome our guests into our chalets. Of course this year we have our Verbier Chalet in the collection which we are excited about having spent the summer getting it ready and recruiting staff.
We aren’t the only ones getting ready for the guests to come. The restaurants, clubs, spas and shops have all started their preparations and it has transformed the quiet and tranquil long summer days into a bustling melting pot of suppliers, tradesmen and business owners making sure they are ready for skiers!
It’s a great time to book your ski holiday too as the summer holidays are now behind us and you can think about your winter break. Our office in the UK has been busy helping people tailor their ski holiday to the specific needs of our customers. It’s also a great time to get yourself prepared for the coming season. It’s often recommended to do a little ski specific training before you go to get the most out of your trip. At the very least starting some simple stretches and going for a run here and there will help you to ski for longer, avoid injury and recover more quickly for the following days skiing.
