….it is super cold in Courchevel and has been for over a week. Diesel cars are often stranded with frozen fuel pipes and frost bite is real risk at the moment. The good news is that the cold snap is due to ease a little on Wednesday and warm up by the weekend. We are recommending that our half term skiers get well wrapped up and we will of course have lit the fires in the chalets ready for a hot drink at the end of the day.

Looking on the bright side the cold spell will have further cemented the permafrost, which means that this year’s late season skiing will be better conditions than pretty much all of last season. !
