Le Cheval Blanc boasts an excellent ski in/ski out location in the exclusive Jardin Alpin region of Courchevel 1850. This five star hotel is luxurious in all that it does, from the understated elegant interior from renowned interior designer Sybille de Margerie through to the attentive service from their team of hospitality professionals.
Culinary art is taken very seriously at the Cheval Blanc. ‘Le 1947’ is the hotel’s two Michelin starred restaurant, here you can expect a delicious gourmet dining experience where French tradition is fused with sparkling creativity. Each evening a single sitting only caters for 25 guests creating a lovely intimate and relaxed setting. If you’re looking to organise an exclusive dining experience for a group of friends then the hotel’s ‘Le Table de Partage’ provides a great experience; the chef serves improvised dishes created as per your preference along with magnum sized bottles of wine and champagne.
‘The White Bar’ provides a relaxing space any time of day and the ‘Skier’s afternoon tea’ served here with specialities in classic French desserts and seasonal treats from the chef is delicious. The stunning sun terrace looks out over the Alpine Garden and is a great place to soak up some winter sun, the hotel also has a luxurious outdoor smoking area in the form of a Mongolian Yurt.
With a spa area that was voted ‘Best Hotel Spa in Europe’ in 2008 you can be sure of beautiful surroundings and excellent facilities. The infinity edge swimming pool is wonderfully designed with an impressive waterfall and stone decor. Other facilities include a Jacuzzi, hammam, rain shower and fitness studio.
