Why you should go skiing over Christmas

Christmas skiing is our absolute favourite at Kaluma Travel and we wanted to share a few of the things we love most about being in the Alps for Christmas:

A guaranteed white Christmas. The most picture-perfect Christmas is with a roaring fire in a beautiful chalet with the snow-capped mountains out the window. At Kaluma we will do everything we can to make your Christmas in the mountains everything you could wish for. From the fires to the Christmas trees, the chestnuts roasting and the mulled wine, the Kaluma Staff will be on hand.

The Food. The absolute bliss of stress and guilt free meals. Our Kaluma chefs are here to make your Christmas ski holiday that bit more magical with their exquisitely prepared breakfasts, canapés and four course dinners to suit any dietary needs. Sit back and let someone else take charge in the kitchen on Christmas while you can enjoy the time with your family.

The Champagne. Enjoy unlimited bubbles, or any of your other favourite festive tipples!

The skiing on Christmas morning. There is something truly spectacular about hitting the slopes on Christmas morning. In fact, the whole day on the slopes is quiet in the Alps, making it the best place to spend a special day together as a family.

Family quality time. Skiing really is one of the best activities to enjoy together, from picking each other up after a tumble to racing to the bottom on the quiet Christmas slopes, skiing over the holidays is the perfect family trip for all abilities.

You can stay in one place and truly put your feet up. Get away from all the driving around between family members, you can even leave us with instructions to have a Christmas tree ready for you upon arrival or perhaps we can have it ready for you to decorate as a family? Kaluma will do everything we can to make it a magical break.
